Akal Academy Vachhoa school is one of the most prestigious Schools in Amritsar District founded in April 2010. It is a Private Institution run by The Kalgidhar Trust in northern India. The school was started with 35 students only and with a triffle staff with the passage of time. After 8 years this tiny plant planted by Baba Iqbal Singh Ji has become a grand tree in which 580+ students are getting value based education from Nursery to class 8th.

The Akal Academy Vachhoa(Amritsar) has been established by honorable Baba Iqbal Singh ji, President The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib (H.P) on the demand of the people of Vachhoa and surrounding villages. It started functioning on 23.3.2010 with a meager strength of 94 students. The student strength in 2019-20 has risen to 486. The students are coming from 65 surrounding villages of the area, the farthest village Mehta from the Campus being at a distance of 32 km in District Amritsar. The admission to the Academy is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed or social and economic status and is entirely on merit bases.

The Academy Campus comprises an area of 28 Kanal 14 Marle. The 3-storey first wing of the building has been constructed. It is a well-designed building with spacious well ventilated class rooms, well equipped laboratories, well stacked library and sufficient hygienic toilets (separately for boys and girls)Sixteen smart boards have also been installed for better understanding of the subjects being taught. The fire-safety equipments have been installed at appropriate places and a deep tube has been installed for drinking water facility. Playgrounds for different activities such as athletic track and ground for volley-ball, Kho - Kho, Kabaddi(Boys & Girls), Long Jump, Shot put and basketball have been developed. The approach is to make a child observant, critical thinker and decisive. The school has achieved outstanding results in academic, sports, inter school events and national Olympiads and is striving to achieve great height.
